We’ve been working with the amazing people over at Media Planet to contribute to their Understanding Dementia 2024 campaign – and I’m pleased to say that the campaign has just launched today!

As the name suggests, the campaign aims to increase the public’s understanding of dementia, with some excellent and truly important stories and articles forming the backbone of the campaign.

My pick of the bunch is this one – “Survey highlights widespread stigma faced by people living with dementia”. Here at CareCo, we know all about the impact of stigma when it comes to encouraging people to use our mobility products, and we’re always working on ways to overcome it.

It’s one of the reasons we were keen to work with Media Planet, and we’re really honoured to be one voice among many when it comes to such an important topic.

The digital campaign is now live, with all content from the print campaign we’ve been running and more featured on the Health Awareness site.

The team at Health Awareness began posting on their social channels this morning.

As part of the campaign, we also secured advertising space in the physical magazine that features in today’s edition of The Guardian.

In that, we have a small banner advert with a QR code that takes readers to this article on our blog, written by Jon Wade and Ben Maples from the Marketing team. The blog highlights some of the ways our products can help when it comes to supporting people living with dementia.

If you aren’t been able to pick up a hard copy of The Guardian today, then youcan find a digital copy of the print campaign on issuu (link here).
